Fanzine  Beyond

".........With their Neo/Fusion side more reminiscent of the trips the Melvins take, than of Korn and the like, Toxitoys succeeded in pouring their music through my eardrums without my being initiated by it. But it goes much further, for along the six tracks of the CD you realize at times that you’re listening to something completely different from what you’re used to. And inasmuch as commercially it isn’t worth much, I’m still very happy we met. This music frees a mind – if this mind is open enough, of course – and spring-cleans your brain. The sound is a trifle home-made but it does the trick alright... Anyway, I believe that with a super-clean prod, the furious and tempestuous character would be lost. And this make up more than 90% of the Toxitoys’ music......"

"........An interesting band coming out of France playing some (young) kind of modern hardcore with influences ranging from Snapcase to punk and some other things à la Rage Against The Machine... Vocals are quite weird, really varied, much into raging screams transforming in cries and murmurs to suddenly change to death-like growls... Tempos are changing all the time, but the overall feel is mid-paced... Add to this already interesting description a kind of ever-changing riffing, from typical hard-core to noisy stuff and you'd have a not that bad at all debut demo........"
